Data · Operations · Systems · AI

I turn messy operations into systems that actually work.

Scattered spreadsheets, manual handoffs, reports nobody trusts. I build the dashboards, automations, and workflows that fix that.

Hiring for a role?

Data analytics · operations · business analysis · revenue ops · AI implementation. Everything below is work I actually built.

Running a business?

If your operations live in messy spreadsheets and manual follow-ups, I fix exactly that. Dashboards, automation, and AI for Malaysian SMEs.

About

Builder, not just user.

My path wasn't the usual one: an education degree, then frontline operations (banking, content moderation, customer service) before a data analytics bootcamp. That route taught me what most analysts never learn firsthand: what it feels like to run a broken process before you fix it.

At Excelerate Asia I've spent two years in revenue operations, managing sales and partnership pipelines while building the systems underneath them: enrolment automation, finance workflows, and the dashboards that keep five departments looking at the same numbers.

I also ship products. Shuttle Beta connects three roles of an airport parking operation into one workflow. UrusKu handles Malaysian SME payroll and statutory compliance. Data model to interface: that's how I think, whether the tool is Google Sheets or Supabase.

What I can help with

The problems I solve.

Reports that take days

Dashboards that update themselves: open one link and the numbers are just there.

Data scattered everywhere

One source of truth connected to your existing tools, so everyone stops arguing about whose number is right.

Manual work that never ends

Follow-ups, status updates, data entry, automated with triggers, so the work happens whether or not anyone remembers.

Pipelines nobody can see

Trackers and pipeline views that show where things are stuck, at a glance.

Workflows that grew by accident

I map the process, cut redundant steps, document the SOP, and rebuild it so it scales.

"We should be using AI, but how?"

Practical AI adoption: where it genuinely saves time and where it's hype. Tools, workflows, and training.

Featured case study · Live beta

Shuttle Beta: one booking, three roles, zero blind spots.

An airport parking and shuttle operations platform connecting customer booking, payment verification, operations assignment, and driver task tracking into one shared workflow.

RoleSolo: research, workflow design, data model, build, deploy
StackHTML/CSS/JS · Supabase · Netlify
StatusFunctional beta v0.9 · live
SurfacesCustomer app · Ops console · Driver app

The problem

Small KLIA parking operators run on WhatsApp bookings, receipts verified by scrolling chat, and drivers dispatched by phone. Three people touch every booking, and none can see what the others are doing. Every handoff is a place where information dies.

The objective

A working platform, not a mockup, where one booking flows through all three roles with full visibility. Built for the Malaysian reality: DuitNow transfers, LHDN e-Invoice, SST, bilingual users.

The workflow

The core is a booking lifecycle modelled as a state machine. Every screen in all three apps is a different role's view of this one pipeline, and nothing moves state without being logged.

Shuttle Beta driver app: active task and one-tap status updates
⤢ enlarge03 · Driver. A queue instead of a phone call: one tap updates the console.

Approach

Data model first, screens second: Supabase schema designed around the lifecycle states before any interface. Manual DuitNow verification now, structured so a payment gateway slots in later without redesign.

What it delivers

  • Verification as a checklist: receipt beside expected amount, fully audit-logged
  • Live ops metrics: pending payments, driver duty, bay occupancy
  • One system instead of WhatsApp + bank app + phone calls

Still to build: honest scope

Payment gateway, automated notifications, driver live location, hardened auth, load testing. All Phase 2; the workflow spine is already built.

What it shows about me

I can take an ambiguous, multi-stakeholder operational problem and ship a working system end-to-end. Same skill set I bring to internal ops work, except this one you can click.

Product case study · Live MVP

UrusKu: a Malaysian SME's back office, in one place.

SME management and payroll: employee records, statutory payroll (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), submission files, and compliance-aware workflows, bilingual by design. Semua urusan, satu tempat.

RoleSolo product design & build
StackHTML/CSS/JS · localStorage-first · Supabase sync
StatusFunctional MVP · live
ModulesFinance · HR & payroll · Operations · Statutory

The problem

Malaysian micro-SMEs run on a payslip template here, a leave spreadsheet there, and manual statutory submissions every month. Proper HR/payroll software is priced for companies ten times their size.

The product

One lightweight platform for the whole back office, from invoices to payslips to government submission files, built for owner-operators of 5–30-staff businesses who do their own admin. EN/BM throughout.

⤢ enlarge02 · Statutory payroll. Deductions from official tables, with employer cost shown, not hidden.
Read the full breakdown: compliance logic & scope

Compliance logic: where it earns its slot

  • EPF, SOCSO & EIS auto-calculated from official tables, with age categories and wage caps handled
  • PCB deliberately not auto-calculated: tax carries liability; UrusKu links to LHDN's own calculator. Knowing what not to automate is a design decision
  • Submission files generated ready-to-upload: Borang A (e-Caruman), Borang 8A + EIS (ASSIST), CP39 (e-PCB), annual EA Forms
  • Bank bulk-payment files for Maybank, CIMB, RHB, Public Bank & HLB
  • 7-year archive and bilingual PDPA consent flow aligned to Malaysian retention and privacy law

Still to build: honest scope

Cloud sync completion, local-data encryption, PCB auto-calc once liability handling is designed, multi-user roles. The disclaimer stands deliberately: statutory figures are for reference and must be verified.

What it shows about me

Domain research turned into working logic (statutory tables, submission formats, PDPA obligations), encoded into a product a non-technical owner can use. I learn the regulatory terrain before I automate it.

Other projects

More work that proves the craft.

Internal systems built in employment, plus the analytical work underneath. Where work is internal, I describe rather than display.

Also built Toko Buku Karat: a bilingual second-hand bookstore tool with AI-powered OCR cataloguing and Jawi support (Anthropic API + Cloudflare Workers).

How I work

The same four moves, every time.

Decompose

Break the mess into the workflow it actually is: roles, handoffs, states.

Design

Data model and process before screens and scripts.

Automate

Triggers, not reminders: the system does the repetitive work.

Surface

The right number in front of the right person. Clarity over completeness.

Services · Business solutions
